I'm trying the March challenge from hc_bingo
This is a rec list - you have to rec 15 fics on the 3 themes that you're given.  My themes are now:

extortion interrogation scars

(they were previously septicemia / infected wounds, telepathic trauma and begging but after several days I could hardly even find anything to read on it, let alone rec and the mod very kindly let me have a new card. Though this one is rather wonderful for the begging prompt: Link: http://archiveofourown.org/works/585034)

Recs will be here )

Title: A Night To Remember
Medium: fic
Rating: PG
Word count: 7627
Warnings: None
Summary: Modern au.
Arthur Pendragon, decorated RAF captain, heir to the throne, university graduate and all-round VIP was sitting in a bingo hall. About to play bingo. It was an ordeal made worse by the obnoxiously cheerful bingo caller.  Arthur was never going to do anything kind for anyone ever again. But you know what they say - No good deed ever goes unpunished.

Huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] eilonwy77 for the last-minute beta.

This was for my hc_bingo postage stamp challenge here.

It's that time of year again!

hc_bingo are starting their monthly amnesty challenges.  Managed all 4 last year and the year before so I don't want to break my run.  It was pretty much all I managed last year.  This year is going to be so much better  So, for February here is the postage stamp I have to create:

WILD CARD explosion
humiliation skeletons in the closet
Filled with A Night to Remember

Author: [livejournal.com profile] clea2011
Fandoms: Atlantis
H/C prompt: Apocalypse
Title: A Moment in the Sun
Medium: fic
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Character death
Summary: “This is the fall of Atlantis,” Jason told Pythagoras as they picked their way through the ruins of what had once been the east wing of the palace. “Atlantis will sink into the sea, fade into myth and legend.”
This is what happened. And there was more than one legend created by the fall.
(Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] deinonychus_1 for the beta)
Written for the [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo May Challenge 'small fandom' and the prompt 'Apocalypse'.  That's all four monthly challenges complete.

A Moment in the Sun
clea2011: (Beckerside)
So, it's the 4th and final challenge before we get the 2016 [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo cards to do.

This one is small fandom fic.  You have to write for a small fandom for at least one of these four prompts:

blackmail abuse
body image issues apocalypse

Atlantis, Damien and Humans all count.  Which to do?  Only needs to be a short fic.
Edit:
Did Atlantis in the end: A Moment in the Sun

The Return of the King
on A03

The hc_bingo challenge for April is to write a crossover of two fandoms.  (Yay, crossover.  Still my least favourite thing)   You get 4 prompts and can write for one, or as many as you like.  These are my four this year:

forbidden love deadline / time bomb stalkers homesickness

Ah, what to do... what to do...

Filled this with 'The Return of the King' - Merlin/Damien crossover, using stalkers as the prompt.

And here is my banner:

I can think of a few already.  I have a month.  So... a few days before the end of the month I'll be having a panic because I haven't finished :-)

I've put in 15 blank templates below so I know how many I've got left to do.
And finished with a few days to spare! :-)

There's a tidied up list here, and here's my banner:

Summary: Modern au. Arthur's life was in ruins. He'd bankrupted the company his father left him, lost everything and couldn't see any future for himself.  It was a cold, grey spring evening, and Arthur was done.
Huge thanks to celeste9 and deinonychus_1 for the beta.

It's that time of year again!
hc_bingo are starting their monthly amnesty challenges.  Managed all 4 last year, but am having the worst writer's block ever.  Well, you know, the worst ever apart from those years when I completely stopped writing. Don't really want to go down that path again.  So, for February here is the postage stamp I have to create:

WILD CARD atonement
loss of identity drowning

If only it didn't bear horrible similarities to something else I'm trying to write.

Fill: It's Not the End of the World

The hc_bingo challenge for May is to write for a small fandom (one with less than 400 fics on A03).  Luckily Atlantis only has about 200 or so fics.   You get 4 prompts and can write for one, or as many as you like.  These are my four:

asphyxiation cages
brainwashing / deprogramming coma

Hmm...

Filled with Icarus Descending - Atlantis - Cages square

And this was the banner I got for it:

The [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo challenge for April is to write a crossover of two fandoms.  (Yay, crossover.  My least favourite thing)   You get 4 prompts and can write for one, or as many as you like.  These are my four:

begging whipping / flogging job-related trauma time travel gone wrong

Two out of two challenges done so far.

The fic I did for this one was Primeval/Being Human, with begging as the square used.
Read it here on A03

( Or here on LJ )

These were the prompts I was given for the March [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo challenge.
loss of home / shelter group support skeletons in the closet

The idea was to find and rec 15 fics that incorporate one or more of these prompts.  The results are below - all 15 are by authors I enjoy, the rest of their fic is well worth checking out as well.

Having just about scraped through the Feb challenge at the last minute, I'm now trying the March challenge from [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo
This is a rec list - you have to rec 15 fics on the 3 themes that you're given.  My themes are:

Not too difficult, hopefully.  I've found 6 already.  I'll try to get this one in before the last minute.

Also I got this banner for the Feb challenge (or will have when it's been added to my post):
